Diesel Engines

While both gasoline and diesel engines work fundamentally the same way, there are some distinct differences. These powerhouse engines compress air in the pistons at almost double that of gasoline engines, producing an even greater level of power and efficiency. Diesel Engine Electrical Components

The diesel engines’ starting process depends on stored energy to activate the glow plugs and heat the combustion chambers that ignite the fuel. To prevent excessive wear on the engines, particularly in cold weather, electrical components like block heaters, oil pan heaters, and thermostats are used to maintain a more favorable working temperature for the starting system.
